Hi,
When coming down to production we like to have music that has something to do with the topics. Any ideas?

yea it is a great idea to have the intro music. i could recommend many bands and intro songs but i think it will come down to your choice since you want to match the music with the show topics or theme. maybe you should base shows around one theme in particular each week? what do you guys think?
one thing i do like is the array of topics and subjects you talk about though sometimes. i also like the fact that you back up your stories.
if you guys would allow it i would love to do some research on the web myself for stories and maybe post them here on the boards.

There is such a vast array of music out there, we pick tracks that have a good vibe and "fit" the flow of the show. All bands and musicians are open to be played as long as they "fit"...
If you know what I mean.

my music library in i-tunes is approaching over 3,000 songs now! so time and time again i can recommend some music. not sure if you guys heard of a band called "project 86" one of my favorite songs by them is called "truthless heroes" very fitting in today's political climate! check it out.

another great band to check out as i'm sure you already have is filter... the last album has a few great rockin songs one in particular "american cliche" a great political tune!
they are forming a new band with the singer richard patrick from filter and the former member Stone temple pilots called "army of one" that should be interesting

i think it would pretty cool if you guys played rage against the machine's song "wake up" i think it is pretty fitting for these times, plus it is a pretty cool song. i llike the part where he screams, "wake up"! the song was on the matrix soundtrack i think.

A few of the 'political' and 'noisy' bands that I listened too back in my 'youth' wouldn't go amiss. Public Enemy, NWA, Levellers, Ministry, Senser. Newer stuff got to be Kasabian (bias as an old school friend is thier bassist), Interpol and look up 'KID ACNE' too, again another old school freind
