In ep 71, we talked about the proliferation of surveillance equipment in public transport, and tv.
We speculated that the tv systems on the Buses are PC based, and how awesome it would be to take one over....
Any thoughts?

Hmmm...
Well first we need some nano probes to take over the Main Frame with... Then we need to Jack into the Main Frame and over ride all the systems , we will then have full control of the tv screens on the busses.. " Comander Data, what do you make of this!".... heheh
Gareth, I have no fu*king idea what you are talking about dude! hehehehe... Sounds cool though..
We don't have busses over here with free tv on them.... That's if a Bus arrives at all , lol

Actually we do have buses with TV on them over here jambo, well at least in Nottingham we do. All these new buses are appearing with a screen on both decks (yeah they only seem to be on double deckers at the mo). At first they were always blank but then they started up with a scrolling flit between on board bus cams showing various angles on both decks of the bus you were on which was slightly disconcerting seeing your face on screen. Then they started up the adverts, first bus company stuff, then local shops and now coca cola and Mc Donalds etc etc. Finally (and this is when I decided to start walking) police wanted stuff and adverts for colleges and weird stuff showed up as advertising of sorts. I would have been happier with a nice in-ride movie.....

Well Nottingham's turning into a vast pedestrian zone, even taxis can't use most of the roads now so buses/bikes and foot are your only option. Mind I don't drive and everything I need to get to is pretty much walkable but if I owned a car in Nottingham I would be pretty much abandoning it now.... Not sure on the logic of it all but it's probably to force people on to the new tram system built at incredible expense with taxpayers pennies. Which is all right if you only want to travel in a straight route on the one open line as they ran out of money for the other two.....
