funny nuts! i'm suprised they were alloed to say "jesus" at work.. funny though... this chick at my work has christian stuff posted up on her computer and bible scriptures. for the heck of i'm thinking about complaining... i mean why not. we aren't allowed to use internet radio or surf the web unless it is "work related" so if it is the company's computer why should she be allowed to post up religious stuff on it...

Say you are offended by the whole thing. Also before you do it take some pics. And if they say "sorry can't do anything" put up some sexy lingerie models all over your stuff.

This brings up a very interesting point about religion in the work place. Should people be able to express their religious freedom at work? I’m sure that most, if not all religious people would yell a resounding YES as an answer to that question, but religious freedom means ALL religion and not just the ones that are associated with Jesus.
A few years ago I worked for a large ISP here in California, and the employees worked in shifts which meant that they occasionally had to share cubicles with other employees. There was this one employee who could be called a “Goth” I guess, and he was a very talented artist. He hand drew a pretty awesome picture of Brandon Lee as The Crow and pinned it to the wall of his cubicle. At the end of his shift he went home and his replacement took his place in the same cubicle.
His replacement just so happened to be a hard core Christian, who immediately tore down his Crow picture, crumpled it into a ball and threw it in the trash!
A few days later when tempers had cooled and we discovered what had happened, the Christian said that she had destroyed the picture because it was Satanic and Devilish, and she could not work in that environment.
She was then written up and moved to another cubicle, and that was the end of that. So does religion have a place in the work environment? We all have co-workers who brandish Crucifixes or Star of David’s around their necks, or wear “Church of Christ Youth Group” T-shirts. Should this be allowed?
Just imagine the BS you would go through if you showed up at work in a “Church of Satan” T-shirt or “Religion is Evil” ball cap…

“Religion is Evil” ball cap… Krap I'm making one right now. I'm bringing my Jesus action figure into the office, although this could be hard to pull off as none of my co-workers bring religion into the work place.
Although I started asking if people if they would wear my " I Love (Heart) Jesus" T-shirt, that shows a latin dude with a leaf blower and at the bottom it says "Jesus shops at company, you should too" if I where to create one. hahahahahha

well i remember at a company i worked at this lady was passing around these angel (prayer) chain letter type e-mails... nothing really offensive but just stuff about praying and god i mean i really don't care what you believe personally. but i got pissed because here i am at work in a corporate environment and i open my e-mail to see religious e-mails from this lady. she would e-mail everyone... nobody really cared either because it was "christian" stuff about angels. but like you guys are saying if it was some other type of religion you would be fired or written up. so back then that is what i was thinkning and i went and said something about it and that i found it offensive that stuff was allowed to go in a work place, the lady never e-mailed that stuff again... i almost felt like an iditiot because i said i was offended as an atheist but i was trying to make my point.
so currently with this girl at my job now she just has like bible scriptures taped up on her monitor and just various stuff on her desk, but her desk is exposed to everyone. but it is a small company so you can get away with that stuff more.
but garreth brings up a great point about this, religion in the work place.

So far everyone at my new job seems decidedly normal...
And as disturbing as that sounds, things so far appear to be going well.
I know that 6 months from now I'll be hating life and yelling "THE PAIN" at every opportunity, but for now I'm kinda into it...
Oh yes
