How do you act while at work?
Are you quiet or timid?
Loud and obnoxious?
Born Leader or follower?
No matter how you act, just remember that they can be fooled. Just act a certain way, and remember that we are perceived as we behave, pure and simple.
Act like a leader and you will be perceived as such...
Oh yes

Hmm, this is an interesting one Gareth!
Not sure how I appeared to others that I worked with. I say worked with because I work for myself now.
But for the thirteen years I did work for some one I have to say I was a differnt person in work than I was out of it.
I think alot of it had to do with the job, I was a sound engineer. The music industry is full of A-Holes anyway, most of them I could have easily planted my fist in there mush just for saying morning to me.
It wasn't how they said it , but rather the was they said it. The bosses were the worst. They would talk at you rather than to you.
Oh well, I think Karma was on my side in the end cause the place went bust in 2001 and they all lost there homes and flash cars. Infact one of the bosses sells windows door to door now! lol
As for me well like I said I work for myself, it still makes me smile when I think of that F*ck selling windows wile I photograph half nakid ladies all day..
Btw, I'm a photographer now. I turned my hobbie into a full time job.

jambo,
Thanks for coming aboard, portfolio? Half naked chicks.. OH Yes! Get some of those pics here. We have to pretend in the work place, just the way it is. If you get lucky, you might find a friend or two that can see your point of view.

we do put an act on at work i feel. i do in many ways but the people who know me best at work and who i work directly with i think know my personality. but in front of strangers in general i just don't open up to much and do act different.

So true, So true. Little do they know... i am realizing this more and more as i get older. "acting" while at work. i think people carry over the acting beyond work. i also hate how people bring their religion and "moral" values with them to work. i hate when these same people think they know it all and anything you say is wrong and "in-moral"

i find myself acting like a d**n suck up at work sometimes... i guess when you work for the man you have "act" to keep your job. you can't say what you really want to say at work.

The two rules for success in any job is to kiss ass and network. So get to know people that you can "use" and Pucker up...
